What happened....

Well, I seem to not be doing too good of a job with this blog. School has started back, and Brady is now walking all the time, and no pictures of either. I did get a snapshot of Grace on "meet the teacher day" before disaster occurred. Our camera broke!!! As those of you with small children know, that is a bad deal! Who knows what things weren't captured since our camera broke down. I actually think a little girl dropped it one too many times. Hopefully we can get a new one in the next couple of weeks. What a bummer.

Grace started school on Thursday, Aug. 30 and had a great day! Her teacher said some kids leave her class reading, so we'll see. Josh read at 4 (the little toot), so I am expecting great things! Brady still wants me a lot, but he is getting more fun as he walks more steadily and wants to be more independent.

On Friday we all drove to Lubbock to visit all of our family there for Labor Day weekend. We got to see all of the great-grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Josh's family has 12 great grandchildren all 4 years old and under who all live in or around Lubbock so it's always a great time. And 2 more will come before Christmas. I think Josh's grandparents want to go to the insane asylum sometimes with all the noise!

We had a great visit and got home late Monday night. (We discovered our camera was broken on our trip.) Tuesday morning bright and early Brady started throwing up, and I have been taking care of people ever since. He got better Wed night but then Grace started throwing up. I took them to CVS pharmacy to get Pedialyte and Gatorade and they both threw up there. What a joy! Anyway, Friday and Sat everyone seemed better and Sunday Brady threw up again. So who knows how long this virus lasts. Almost everyone in Josh's family got it too.

So that is what we have been doing and why you haven't seen any pictures. Hopefully soon we will have more fun stories to share!
