TN trip!

The kids and I drove to TN over a long weekend at the end of Oct. My friend Karen Miller from high school was getting married (she has the same name as my mom). The kids were SOO good in the car and I was estactic! Karen got married to Ryan at her parents lake house and it was a small, intimate wedding. Beautiful! Our friend Josh has amazing photography skills, and does weddings on the side, so it was good to see him too. Congrats Karen!
Karen and Ryan are major Memphis Tigers Basketball fans. Isn't the cake cool? I wish I could say I made it, but no.

J.Jaye and I cut the cake. I was wondering how many times I have done this at a friend's wedding. I shoul've kept count!

Sweet Karen! She looked so beautiful on her wedding day!

My brother Zachary and his girlfriend, Mallory. They drove up from college just to eat dinner with us. Mallory is such a sweet girl!
Most of the fam. My parents finally got rid of the couch they've had since 1989 and got this much better style.
Brady loves my mom's exercise ball. He pushes it all over the house, breaking things along the way. This trip it was a vase with dried flowers in it. Oops!

Grace plays the piano almost constantly at my parent's house. They don't seem to mind, but it drives me bonkers!

Visiting Cousin Brett

This is my sweet cousin Jill and her precious baby, Brett. Many of you know of him because I asked you to pray for him for so long. He was hit by a car in April and had to recover from that. Then they found a brain tumor that they removed a couple of months ago. Needless to say, they have had a rough year, but Brett is doing amazing! He is just the happiest and sweetest little boy. He and Brady are 6 weeks apart. Josh went out of town for work, so I drove down to Burleson to visit all my cousins for the day. We had a blast playing, eating, and watching football together! We are so thankful Brett is doing so much better!
The kids were fascinated to be at a real football game. We didn't sit in the stands, so they were able to run around and watch from the sidelines. Brady kept yelling "football". They had a blast at Hutch's game.

My aunt Sheila has 5 kids! They are all so awesome! Haylee is in graduate school in AR and also coaches softball. Her sister Kelli is just the greatest teacher!

My cousin Hutch, who is at Senior at a private school in Crowley. He is the star quarterback!

Cowboy Day

Can't leave brother out! Look at his hair all slicked back. What a character! He's getting pretty good at this pop-a-shot thing he got for his birthday.
Both the jean dress below and this white and red shirt were mine when I was little. I am so thankful my mom saved all this stuff. Keep in mind though, that sizes must be different now a days because these are size 6 and my 4 yr old is wearing it. Yikes!

Grace was having "Rr" week at school and studying the rodeo, so they had to dress as cowboys/cowgirls. Her boots were too small so we had to get new ones. She really wanted pink, but we made her settle for black and red, so they could be passed down to brother. She wasn't very happy about it. Thursday at school they had a cookout and everything!

Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch

Everybody on the train
Gary and Marisa- Caleb's parents

Cousins!!

Caleb- isn't he precious?!
This was a huge haystack the kids wanted to climb. I was very impressed they were so brave!

This is Josh's cousin Rachel, her husband Jeremy, and their daughter Pacey. She's almost one, and such a cutie!!

Pops and our nephew Caleb on the hayride

So he's scared of all the inflatibles, but he climbed right up to the top of the jungle gym, no problem!

Brady and Grammy. Brady is really scared of the inflatibles, so Grammy occupied him elsewhere.
One Saturday we went with the Palmer fam to another pumpkin patch. It was totally free and had train rides, hay rides, inflatibles, and many picture opportunities. Another great day!

Greta's party

These were some mean goats! They were trying to pull the cup and Brady through the fence!

Brady's friend Greta had her 2nd birthday party at the Pumpkin Farm we usually go to each fall. It was a great day, nice weather, and fun for my kids to go there with other friends. Brady is a gray mouse and Grace is Sleeping Beauty. They fed animals, went on a hayride, picked a pumpkin, and ran around.
